For Venus Williams, it'll be just like old times (Wimbledon predictions, women's edition)

So much has been made this year about the fact that Serena and Venus Williams are once again one and two in the rankings. But in my mind, at Wimbledon, you have to say they're one (that being Venus) and 1a (Serena). Venus has been having one of the best years on tour so far this season and I don't see why that success can't continue at the Slam she's been most prolific at. Expect her to add to her collection of Venus Rosewater dishes. But first, how I see the tournament going:

The Fourth Round

Serena Williams (1) vs. Maria Sharapova (16)
Na Li (9) vs. Agnieszka Radwanska (7)
Caroline Wozniacki (3) vs. Jie Zheng (23)
Aravene Rezai (18) vs. Samantha Stosur (6)
Maria Kirilenko (27) vs. Justine Henin (17)
Kirsten Flipkens vs. Jelena Jankovic (4)
Vera Dushevina vs. Marion Bartoli (11)
Melanie Oudin vs. Venus Williams (2)

The Quarterfinals

Sharapova vs. Li
Zheng vs. Stosur
Henin vs. Jankovic
Bartoli vs. V. Williams

The Semifinals

Sharapova vs. Stosur
Henin vs. V. Williams

The Finals

you sure about Williams beating Sharapova this year?

Yep, mainly because Sharapova hasn't had too many great wins since she's been back. Pulling off a whole bunch of them might be pretty tough.
